What a joyful session we had wiggling, jiggling and feathers flying everywhere!


I had the nicest time scooting around Aberdeen.
I visited Rothienorman and Lathallan and what joy both sessions brought me.
Oscar, his pals and me felt very at home.

Always a highlight of my year and this year did not disappoint.
Celebrating the wonderful dragon book by acclaimed author Robin Scott Elliot, we had so much fun making dragon masks and getting gholish in preparation for Halloween!

I had a lovely time meeting children at Mile Cross Primary and sharing stories about the sea, a new world to so many which is part of the joy of what I do.
I then shared my poem at the open mic night for the Cafe Writers which meant a huge amount to me too.
A real journey in all senses of the word.

Magical time back in Dublin for Irish Book Week.
It was a non-stop action packed whirlwind of School visits but I loved every second.
A great treat to catch up with old Canterbury Teacher Training friends and pay homage to Molly Malone as well!
It was so much fun having the chance to have children in for our second recording session. Thank you for the enthusiasm. May Oscar go from strength to strength…!
