Oscar and Mercy have been really taking shape!

What an eye-opening time I had reading in Abu Dhabi.
So many amazing Schools and so many enthusiastic pupils.
I have never felt so valued as an educator in what I can bring to the country and offer.

Action packed, fun filled beginning at Abu Dhabi with the book fair, the creative summit, some readings and the light show.
Action packed and full of fun.
Nice to have familiar faces in foreign places too.

A carrot a day brings luck they say.
It certainly does at HIllingdon Hospital which was bursting with luck!

A magical fun filled day guaranteed to get me in the Easter spirit.
Thank you, Wendell Park, for a hopping great time!

It was quite a relentless week of London Book Fair fun and then on to Geneva.
The alarm in the bathroom of the plane would not stop ringing… fortunately not a pre-emptive sign of what was to come as it was a joy from start to finish.
Thank you, Decouverte and La Chataigneraile, for such a magical start to my Swiss adventure.

They say ignorance is bliss and thankfully I walked into this one completely blind.
Luckily my talk went down well, sharing information about the difference between publishing and self publishing through port and starboard.
If I have helped even a tiny bit I’ll be happy.

Always a treat to go back to Hill House!
Thank you, Jane Story, for gallantly dressing up as Eddie and entering into the spirit of everything so warmly.

Thank you so much, Stefanie and Hillingdon hospital, for giving me the very best birthday.
It was magical from start to finish. Sharing Jennifer’s story and then celebrating with balloons, party poppers and lots of joy.
I’ll never forget a second.

Ramadan signals the beginning of hope with light signalling spiritual guidance and enlightenment.
It was a joy to celebrate in the hospital this year, hiding from the lions….
Can you spot us?
